Nadine's Adventure

Nepal Part 3

Day 23: It was supposed to be our first lazy day after trekking but instead I had to go to the Indian Embassy at 8 in the morning. Again I was number 5 and this time; they started on time so I got out at 9.45. Again we had a good time because we met a guy from trekking: Ben
After that we went for breakfast in Kathmandu where we had nice coffee (thanks too Angie's and Thomas's advice). We spend the rest of the day hanging around Thamel meeting people we knew. So we went for a drink with a French couple from trekking (Catherine & Daniel). Saw an American from trekking. We met Ben again. Then we went back to the Embassy for the Visa Pick up. We met with Angie, Thomas and Jagat ... and we ended up having dinner with Ben and his girlfriend Stena. Are we popular or what!!!!????!!!!

Day 24: Today is the day that another Smurf arrived .... But first things first: Breakfast with Angie and Thomas - Lunch with Ben and Stena ... hanging around buying souvenirs. Pick-up Valérie at the airport and dinner with Catherine & Daniel ... what a lovely day!

Day 25: We had an amazing breakfast. We went back to the place that Angie & Thomas recommended us and we bought some bread .... And the bread is absolutely delicious. We ordered some eggs with it and also we found some ‘cote d'or' chocolate ..... mmmmmmmmmmmm. After that we went to visit Durbar Square ... had a momo lunch .... Again we went shopping for souvenirs and in the evening we went back to the Belgian finger chips place ..... mmmmmmmmmmm

Day 26: Last full day in Kathmandu with again an amazing breakfast. We visited the major things like Bhaktapur, Pashupatinath and Boudhanath. In the evening we met some friends from Valérie who arrived in Kathmandu and we all went for dinner together ....

Today we're all leaving. Yacine is going back to Belgium. I thought I would have been happy to put him on a plane but actually I'm a little bit sad. We had a great month together.

And for Valérie & me .... Let's go to India!!!!!!!!!!!!
